Come visit the farm store and pick up your favorite cheese or get some fresh milk or frozen beef.
You’ll find my family’s farm four miles south of Williamsburg and ten miles north of Fredericksburg on Clover Creek Road. Get Directions.
Arriving
During the summer and fall, you’ll see the baby cows grazing the pastures across the creek from the barn as you drive in our driveway.
You’ll see the milking herd in one of the fields behind the barn. Look for them as you come down the driveway.
Cross the bridge over Clover Creek. (Don’t worry the bridge is strong enough to support a full milk truck!) Drive up to the front of the barn and enter the porch. If you look through the porch windows into the barn you may see me inside making cheese.
Enter through the doorway on your left and you’ll see our farm store.
The store is open during everyday daylight hours for self-serve purchases. My parents or I will be at the store on Wednesdays from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Purchasing
You’ll find gallons and half-gallons of raw milk in the sales fridge.
Wedges of the most popular kinds of cheese are on the shelves above the milk.
The freezer beside the fridge has ground beef, hamburger patties, and beef bones. Look to see if we have any steaks and roasts available.
Grab a dozen eggs from our apprentice Amber, she is collecting eggs from her chickens and ducks.
Pre-orders
Pre-orders are not required to shop at the farm store.
Some of you are coming from a distance and want to ensure your items are in stock. Or you’d like a large amount of milk or a wheel of cheese.
Place your order for pickup through our online store. Just select pick up at the farm when you check out. You can even pay ahead with a credit card or Paypal so you don’t have to worry about your wallet or change.
We’ll put your order in the fridge in a bag with your name.
Payment
Once you have picked out your purchases, write up your name, the date, and the dollar amounts of what you got on the paper on the top of the chest freezer.
There is a box on the window sill for your cash or check.
If you have a smartphone, there is a QR code to pay with your credit card via Square or Paypal.
Thank you for supporting my family farm!
